Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes is an American actor, is famous for her portrayals of her character of Dr. Sydney Hansen in the NBC drama "Providence" and Dr. Lane Hunter in the medical drama 'The Resident.' She is also most well-known as the character of detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama 'CSI NY" and her role as Dr. Lane Hunter at the medical drama "The Resident..' Her first major role in the series in the role of Eleni andros Cooper in the CBS soap show "Guiding Light" was also well-respected. The notable film roles she has played are '15 Minutes Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief", and 'Snitch'.
